Take the call

Two of you, or one.

Two phones.
One way out.

An escape room you play out loud. One of you takes the call and hears every word she says. The other has his laptop — his mail, his accounts, everything he left open — and hears none of it.

Everything you work out, you work out by saying it to each other. On your own? Play solo — the call and the laptop side by side on one screen.

Take the call Two of you, or one. You choose when the case opens.

Two seats.
Half each.

The call · the laptop

The call. One of you holds the phone and hears every word. She can hear you too — so when she talks, the room goes quiet, and when you talk over her, she frays.
The laptop. The other has everything he left open — his mail, his accounts, his voicemail — and none of what she says. What you find, you read out. What she sees, you ask for.

Neither screen has the whole of it.

Solo puts both on one screen

After the call

Every call ends
in a report.

How long she had left. Whether the units came as she walked out or while she was still inside. Every wrong thing you sent her, every time he heard her because you were talking. Commended, clean, rough — or by a thread.

Then the case is still on your desk, and you can take the call again.

She's still on the line.
